At Synchronicity Farm in the first weekend in December is a fantastic opportunity to connect with Will Cotterill who has proven his skill and knowledge to be able to educate keen participants who want to learn how to turn a lifestyle rural block into a productive small farm.
It is something that truly touches the hearts and minds of many families who have made the move into the country but who are still working off their farm in traditional employment. The feedback from participants has been inspired, with many reporting that the skills, knowledge and connections made will position these farmers for success.
When asked what the motivation is to host and run this workshop series, Joshua Allen said that its all about empowering the local food economy, getting young farmers onto the land and showing small landholders that making a living from an intensively farmed area is very possible.
For the inspired participants, this guided learning experience leads onto a series of practical workshops involving building large market gardens, fertility systems and maximising the food that can be grown per square metre.
