In mid 2015 after 6 years in construction, Synchronicity Farm finished the first stage of our large commercial oven build. To say it has been a labour of love is an understatement as the vision for this exceptional infrastructure is to feed the community and bring together lovers of great local food across the region.
For a couple of months during a private trial of the oven, Synchronicity Farm started testing their hand at cooking woodfired pizza. If you were one of the lucky punters who had the pleasure of sampling the first class pizza and breads that was served along with farm fresh salads picked within minutes of serving along with unique fermented foods, you would know that there is nothing like this in the region.
Every day, many positive comments of support and encouragement flowed in from customers who proclaimed that the food being produced was without a doubt the best they had experienced in a long time. Every week the word spread like wild fire and the growth demonstrated by loyal, returning customers spurred us on to creatively design new menus and develop unique offerings including gluten free pizza bases, dessert pizzas, fermented probiotic ingredients and salads with many different types of seasonally harvested leaves with diverse tastes.
Throughout this trial, Synchronicity Farm was working closely with Tony Ross, an exceptional Architect from Design Studio 22, who was engaged to understand and design the premises to support the bigger vision for the paddock to plate experience. This work has culminated in a collaborative effort with the support of Coffs Harbour City Council to put all of the necessary infrastructure and approvals in place to develop a food based enterprise that will be unmatched in the region.
For people who want to make sure they are invited to the official opening party, Synchronicity Farm has now launched an online form for VIP Foodies to register as grass roots supporters who will be the first to experience the authentic one-of-a-kind environment now under design and construction.
